A Fictional World I’d Love to Escape | Dreamlike Journey into Peace, Nature & Joy
A fictional world sounds so magical – a mystical escape from the harsh and brutal realities of life.
Every day brings stress about work. There are deadlines to be met, responsibilities to fulfill, and a family to care for, all without the cushion of generational wealth to simply relax and enjoy. One has to plan a budget carefully, even to buy a child his first cycle or toy. Each day grows tougher as the cost of living becomes higher. We see the price tag before purchasing anything for ourselves. Reality feels like an ordeal, a cycle of endless suffering.
This invisible pain binds us in chains of helplessness. A wife, silently managing with a few clothes and ornaments, bears taunts from relatives and friends, yet never asks for anything new. She carries it all without giving her husband even a hint or clue.
Then comes the weekend. The mind and body are exhausted from long commutes and endless work commitments. The tired eyes finally close, and in deep sleep another world unfolds a world that requires no ticket, no fare.
It is a world in the mountains, where cold winds whisper softly: “Welcome, you are safe here.” The environment and weather adjust perfectly to the dreams these weary eyes once imagined.
There are lush trees, untouched by reckless cutting and deforestation. Flowers bloom freely, spreading fragrance everywhere, filling the soul with peace. The rains fall not as storms but as sparkling decorations, bringing life and beauty to the landscape.
Here, great delicacies cover the plate, overflowing with curries and desserts. After a sumptuous meal, there is singing and dancing with the family. Faces glow with joy, laughter, and contentment, a sight long forgotten in the real world.
This is the fictional world one wishes to escape to a long journey that never ends. For going back would mean returning to the same old life of struggle and despair.
