As James Bond is portrayed as a CIA agent, he faces dangerous situations daily that threaten his life. The poems are fresh and vividly bring out the combat skills of James Bond 007. For instance, the first poem describes Bond discovering treasure near a pond. In the second, he saves his girlfriend at a ball. The third depicts a skyscraper encounter where enemies attack him. The fourth poem takes place in a forest ambush, and in the fifth, Bond saves a ship from danger.
The poems continue with Bond being attacked at home, on a plane, and later in a car. On another occasion, he is attacked while traveling on a train, and even while relaxing and watching television in his bedroom. His enemies strike again while he is on a bus, in a meeting, and even while on a walk. At a café while having coffee, he is once more attacked. At a picnic with colleagues, at a party by a swimming pool, in an ice-cream parlour, and on a cruise ship, Bond consistently shows courage, willpower, and determination to save not only himself but also others around him. Finally, at a laughter club, he ends with his iconic winning line: “My name is Bond, James Bond.”
It is a fun book to read. The other poems include Happy Shopping, Home Sweet Home, A Detective, Until We Meet Again, Until My Poem Is Over, among others. Get a copy today and enjoy this blend of thrill, poetry, and creativity. Happy Reading!
