  1. The Checkmate

What review can sum up the amount of love I feel for this book!

Drama, action, adventure, thrill, suspense, romance, spice this book has it all! And when I mean it all be assured the author has given her 1000%

The storyline has further improved in the final book in the series. The answers are revealed and how! The book is unputdownable. It’s so engaging that the characters and readers mind becomes one.

The language is lucid and the narration is extremely compelling. The author has gracefully explained the sub-plots and stories that were much awaited.

Throughout the book the readers will keep feeling what just happened?!!

The characters finally are revealed in the best possible way. There’s a constant awe and wonder as we are introduced to the past of Shergills and Walias! I have a separate love for the character development of not just the protagonists but every single character in this book.
And of course the chemistry between Ayaan and Meher their love chemistry and their trust to solve the problems together! They are a power couple!

I love the way the author brought in closure worth anticipation! It’s a full circle and that too in the most beautiful way.

Overall a highly engaging fast paced and intriguing story with lots of interesting plots and characters!

2. The Royal Heist

Reading an Alisha Kay book is like sitting on a beach with your emotional support juice with calming wind!

The book revolves around His Highness Jaidev Raisingh, the grumpy Maharaja of Savanur and Naina Gulati who belongs to a family of legendary thieves and to pull off the heist of the century – stealing the Savanur necklace.

The story starts on a compelling note that intrigues you to explore what exactly Naina and her family does for a living and how!

The chemistry sets right from the beginning when Naina kisses a stranger and later realises that it’s none other than Jaidev who she meets in a complete different circumstance.

The way the storyline is set makes it impossible for reader to stop at few pages. It’s highly engaging with witty dialogues which is the best point of Alisha Kay’s book.

The plot engages readers instantly and the chemistry starts getting better. The characters are developed beautifully with the smooth strong perspectives.

Other supporting characters are also well written. I’m sure readers have a soft corner for Zoya and Ela bua.

Overall a highly engaging, witty, romantic adventure you should definitely check out!
